Cormac Heron Last year I explained How to say Happy Saint Patrick's Day In Irish, so I thought I'd wish my Chinese friends a Happy New Year and tell you all how to wish your Chinese friends and colleague a Happy New Year in their native language.

Chinese New Year is the biggest celebration in the Chinese calendar. Business usually shuts down except for restaurants. It is a time families to get together to celebrate the start of a new year. This year is the year of the Rabbit which is the fourth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac.
