Mark Heslop from Logica sent us this extreme close up of a bee in Switzerland in 2010. For the techies amongst you it was taken with a Nikon D80, with a 18 - 105mm lens (with a macro tube between the body and the lens). Amazing! You can follow MarkusTMeerkat on Twitter.

Chris Richard's Bee In Flight

A magnificent picture of a bee in flight be Chris Richards. Cheers Richard. It's the kind of picture we wish we took.

Euan Semple's Bee Cup

This was sent to us from our friend Euan Semple soon after we launched in 2008. This was Euan's cup in BBC ironically.
